Nzhdeh Aghazaryan

Mr. Aghazaryan takes pride in his ability to assess the merits of allegations and uncover the truth to reach a just resolution on behalf of his clients. He appreciates that litigation is burdensome and stressful on clients and seeks to resolve matters as swiftly and efficiently as possible. Using his skills and expertise, Mr. Aghazaryan has obtained numerous successful results for his clients, including:

• Favorable defense verdict in an employment jury trial wherein plaintiff was awarded no damages despite adverse evidence and settlement demands over $2.5 million
• Summary judgment against former employee\'s discrimination, harassment, reasonable accommodation and interactive process causes of action, affirmed on appeal
• Plaintiff\'s voluntary dismissal of FEHA causes of action after two years of rigorous discovery and investigation that refuted material allegations and exposed plaintiff to recovery of attorneys\' fees for continuing with the prosecution of his claims
• Summary judgment against plaintiffs\' Section 1983 claims wherein Court found public safety answering point did not owe constitutional duty to preserve evidence related to plaintiffs\' underlying criminal case
• Summary judgment against Section 1983 claims for excessive force, unlawful search and seizure, and arrest despite underlying criminal charges being dismissed
• Summary judgment against plaintiffs\' wrongful death claims for dangerous condition of public property for roadway design wherein exposure to liability exceeded seven figures
• Summary judgment against dangerous condition of public property claim due to failure to comply with Government Claims Act, despite timely filing of a claim

Mr. Aghazaryan\'s appreciation of developing a deep understanding of the law comes from serving as a judicial extern to the late Honorable Stephen R. Reinhardt in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also served as a judicial extern to Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald in the United States District Court, Central District of California. Mr. Aghazaryan received the Best Brief award in Loyola\'s Scott Moot Court Competition and competed in the Traynor Moot Court Competition.

Aside from his time at Hurrell-LLP, Mr. Aghazaryan has worked for a boutique business litigation firm and national employment defense firm wherein he represented Fortune 500 companies, hospitals and medical care groups. Mr. Aghazaryan received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2013. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2017.

Mr. Aghazaryan is admitted to practice before all California state courts, the United States District Court, Central and Northern Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
